PRISONER PAYS A PENALTY

Patrick Donovan, who escaped from the Terrace Gaol on Wednesday and was recaptured four hours later, was to-day sentenced to an additional three months’ imprisonment.
THE WILSON ANNUITY
Wellington, June 20.
Referring to the report cabled recently that a joint annuity of £3OO had been settled on the widow of Dr Wilson and her sister, Miss Souper, Mr Kinsey states that representations were made to Mr Asquith to show that Miss Souper was never dependent on Dr Wilson, and the whole annuity has pow been settled on Mrs Wilson.
