WEATHER FORECAST.
The Government Meteorologist /Rev D. C. Bates) telegraphed this afternoon as follows : 'ijk The indications are . for westerly " strong winds to gale and veering by west to south after 36 hours. The weather appears likely to be cloudy and unsettled. There is a prospect of rain, and tho weather will probably become colder. The harometer has a falling tendency, but will rise after 24 to 36 hours."
