The Labor majorities at Ballarat and Illawarra are now 162 and 154 respectively., The Noes have' 'crept further ahead in the referenda, and this issue seems finally assured. The position will be : —ln the House ; Liberals 38, Labor 37. In the Senate: Liberals 6 or 7, Labor 29 or 30. (Received 10.40 a.m.) Sydney, June 9. The counting of absentee votes is not finished in a single electorate. Some have only a few hundred papers not . ceiintgd, while others have several thousands.
