AN ORINGI CAMP INCIDENT. [Per Press Association.] ' AVellington, June 9. The unpleasant incident at the Oringi Camp, which compelled a Post representative to beat a hasty retreat to avoid personal violence, has, it is understood, been the subject of a military enquiry. As a result, it has been found that statements by the Evenfng Post were in substance correct, and all the persons concerned have beoh reprimanded accordingly. The Post states : “To-night we have no desire to embarrass the department, and in the hope that the action it has taken will prevent a recurrence of like incidents in the future, we shall not proceed further in tho matter.”
