CHARGES OF BLACKMAIL. (Received 8.45 a.m.) London, June 8. The well-known Robert Sievier is prosecuting Percy Bono (solicitor, and Thomas Dent (bookmaker) for circulating a type-written sheet alleging that Sievier blackmailed Dent for £I6OO in connection with an advertisement in the Winning Post. They were committed for trial, bail being allowed. GOOD FOR THE OFFICE BOY ! A well-known member of the Stock Exchange drew Aboyeur in a sweepstake on the Derby, and he was so disgusted at his luck, tnat he presented the ticket to the office hoy, who won £1875. • A London cablegram states that Bower Ismay has sold Craganour to the Argentine Government on the condition that he never races again. The price was £30,000.
