Last Saturday I held my usual weekly sale, when there was a very good attendance of buyers. We also had a very largo entry of poultry, vegetables, furniture and sundries, which were quitted at very satisfactory prices. I quote as follows: Hens, fat Is Id to Is 4d, laying Is 9d to 2s, pullets 2s to 2s Gd, roosters Is 3d. to 2s, ducks Is Gd to 2s 3d; cauliflowers 7s per sack, cabbage Is Gd to 3s Gd per sack, carrots 2s 3d to 3s per sack, potatoes 8s to 8s 9d per sack, bacon farmer’s cured 7d to 8d per lb, onions 2s Gd to 11s per bag.
