STRATFORD v. INGLEWOOD. The annual match between the above clubs took place at Inglewood yesterday. The Stratford Club sent a dozen players, and won by 7 games to o. The links were in splendid order, and some good play was witnessed. The local players thoroughly enjoyed the day’s outing, and were well entertained by the Inglewood players and members. The individual matches resulted as follows:—H. E. Abraham losff to G. Gudgeon, 3 doAvn and 2 to play. H. C. Wright beat, H. J. M. Thomson, : 1 up. V. Crawshaw lost to Dr. Gault, 4 down and 2. W. J. Crawshajv beat F. Brown, 7 up and 5. G. R. Wright beat Johnston, 4 up and 2. F. N. Fussell beat Lewes, 4 up and 2. F. P. Uniacke beat J. Gibbs, 4 up and 3. R. Spence lost to W. Matthews, 3 down and 1. 0. Vaughan lost to C. beat A. Patterson, 3 up and 2. E. S. Rutherfurd lost to D. HawortTT, 3 down and 2. E. A. Jackson beat P. O’Carroll, 2 up and 1.
