MAGISTRATE AND TOY PISTOL. London, May 23. An extraordinary accident occurred co-day in the Police Court at Sheffield. A case was being heard in which two youths were charged with having used a toy pistol in the street. The magistrate was" examining the postal, and by way of testing it ho tumid the weapon against his outstretched hand and pulled the trigger, with the result that ho injured his hand rather severely. The two youths were fined, but no penalty was imp soudeonpshtarmyrd nan by whom, the pistol was sold, to ;he lads.
