ARMED MERCHANTMEN.
THE FIRST AUSTRALIA [By Electric Telegraph-Copyright! [United Press Association.] (Received 8 a.m.) London, May 26. The firm of Harland and Wolff, the well-known shipbuilders are fitting the White Star Company’s Oramic with two guns, being the first of the Australian Merchantmen to be armed.
