A meeting of the Superannuate* Railway Men’s Association was hdc 1 bo consider the reply from the Minis ter of Railways re Concessions being granted to members of tho railway service inregiird to privilege ticket l and free passes. It vhas stated rha l they were led to believe the Depart ment looked with favour upon the re quest for granting privilege tickets but in the light of what the Ministei said, their hopes were dashed to the ground. It was unanimously decid ed to obtain signatures throughou" tho Dominion of all superannuate*' railway men, the petition to be pie tented to Parliament, praying tha the concessions asked for be granted.
