The Mikado is progressing favorably in health, states a Tokio cablegram. Mr Edgar Page; Stipendiary Mag isfcrate for the Taihape district, u to he transferred to Whangarei, the business there being found to warrant the appointment of a second magistrate to assist Mr F. V. Fraser, Mi W. R. Haselden, lately relieving mag istrate in Otago, will succeed Mr Page at Taihape.
