Sir E. Carson, in opening the Unionist Drill Hall at East Belfast, said that force would only be used as a last resort to bedt back those daring to barter away the loyalists’ elementary rights of citizenship. NO COMPROMISE. London, May 17. Sir E. Carson declines to be a party to any compromise on the Home Rule Hill. He added that if Ulster adhered to the Covenant the King must be satisfied that the Hill had the overwhelming support of his subjects. Any Minister advising him to sign the Bill was incurring grave and almost desperate responsibility..
