ACCIDENTS & FATALITIES.
CUT HIS THROAT. ■ [Peb Press Association.] Hastings, May 14. Thomas Batchelor, married, 55 years of age, gardener at the Olig station, committed suicide yesterday by cutting his throat. Deceased, told the manager he was going on leave, and asked for a cheque. The manager later found Batchelor dead with a razor in his hand. Deceased had been drinking.
