Some of the crowd used mirrors to deflect the aun in the speakers’ faces, compelling them to stop. iA bomb containing twenty-four gunpowder cartridges and a fuse, with oil soaked in wadding, was found during a performance at the Empire Theatre.
In Dublin three women were arrested for breaking the fanlight of the United Irish League. (Received 9.25 a.m.)
Mr J. Dillon .(Nationalist member for Mayo East), while surrounded by suffragettes in the street in Dublin, declared that he would vote against them every time. The windows in his house were subsequently bombarded with stones. The Nottingham Boat Club was burned and many valuable boats destroyed.
