Gray was examined under the Fraudulent Debtors Act in respect to his means of satisfying Robert’s judgment for £2311 against him for breach of contract. Gray, giving evidence, said that he had an agreement with Ids father whereby he received £3 a week, his father paying for his clothes and travelling expenses, and taking what he earned at billiards. Gray’s father deposed that all the money Ids son made in England and South Africa, about £4OOO, was eaten up in expenses. A thousand pounds went in legal expenses in England. He had not got a penny now. Mr Justice Hood declined to make an order in the case, declaring that even if he did not believe the evidence, it would not justify him in making an order against the defendant.
