THE N.S.W. STRIKE

Four hundred men are out at Cockatoo Island, And the whole work of construction of the Australian warships has been suspended. Negotiations for a settlement of the dispute are proceeding. The sdnthem coal owners have officially notified that they are agreeable to a resumption of work, and have ordered preparations for a start to be made at the mines on Monday.
