At the annual meeting of the Emfl V iplpe ’Parliatnefatary AWociation,: the rHon. (Mr ; Lowther, Speaker of the ; of Commons, presided. ' Mr :Bonar Law and Lord Emmett , paid tributes to the excellent work ,; of '..fostering- closer relations with , .Overseas {.statesmen. Mr'. Leather "moved that the executive, endeavour to arrange for twenty members of parliament to accept the invitation to visit Australia this year. Mr Balfour, in seconding the motion, said, that the invitation was conclusive proof of ■ the value pf the Association. They should, by delegation, make themselves acquainted with the feelings and „aspirations of those carrying out Empire work overseas, and also carry to them in concrete form our goodwill and sympathy. The motion was carried.
