Systematic betting on football matches is being introduced in Victoria. Circulars have been issued giving directions to persons wishing a range of three to one to those selecting two winning teams playing off their own grounds, to a hundred tc one to those selecting the winners of two home and five away matches and one drawn in one afternoon.
