GERMAN ARMY INCREASE

The Budget Committee adopted the army increase. Herr von Jagow, in reply to the Socialists, said that Belgium’s neutrality guaranteed international agreement to which Germany for forty-three years had proved faithful. She desired peace, especially with France, but there was a feeling that there was a danger of a possibility of attack from France still existing. NAVAL DEVELOPMENT. German capitalists are about to spend large sums in the devlopmnt of Alexandretta.
