LOVE COVE TRAGEDY.
WRIGHT ARRESTED. Sydney, April 26. Wright has been arrested on a charge of murder. Wright, after treatment at the hospital, was commitetd to a mental asylum, and was arrested when discharged.
A Sydney cablegram, dated February 14, says:—Myrtle Caldwell, aged 21, was found shot last night in a. critical condition in a shelter shed at Love Cove. William Wright, aged 21, a setward, a recent arrival from England, who was keeping company with Caldwell, reached home at midnight. Shortly afterwards he was found shot, and in a serious condition. It is stated that Wright prevailed on the girl to get the afternoon off to visit English ships in the harbour.
