DISTINGUISHED VISITORS.
TWENTY-FIVE FOR NEW ZEALAND. [By Electric Telegraph—Copyright] [United Press Association.] (Received 9.30 a.m.) Melbourne, April 25. A meeting of the Federal Committee is arranging details in connection witl the visit of the British Association for the Advancement of Science. It is stated that New Zealand has granted £2OOO for the passages of twenty-five representatives, with a view to enabling them to extend the tour to Neu Zealand. A resolution was passed that the (British Association be invited to nominate twenty-five members to go after the Sydney meeting on the understanding that New Zealand wil. pay £3O towards the expenses of each, and that the members will fulfil scientific duties in New Zealand.
