The astonishing statement is made by.Mr G. A. Lorenzen, traveller in cigars (says the Standard’s New York correspondent), that in 20 years he has had to spend 18,000dol (£3,(300) in tips. This is how Mr Lorenzen details the work of the tip collectors in a 24-hour trip from Chicago to Milwaukee and back: — Cents.
