[Per Press Association.] Napier, April ‘?4. The police have received intimation that a man named William Austin, a shepherd, was run over on the Poranghau Road by -a motor car last night, and that when picked up life was extinct. Deceased was lying on the road, and it is not known whether or not he was dead when the car ran over him.
