To-day five vessels, with an aggregate tonnage of between 5000 and 6000, are expected in port, and the recent extensions to the wharf will be fully appreciated. -The. usual shortage of labor, however, will no doubt hamper the quick discharge of the whole of the vessels. • THE KAITANGATA. The Kaitangata is expected to put in an appearance from Newcastle today. Her cargo will be about 1400 tons of coal for various consignees. THE TAVIUNI. The Taviuni sailed from Wellington last evening for New Plym'outh with about 350 tons of general cargo. She is to proceed to the West Coast after discharging. in, THE HAUPIRI. The Hanpiri is, due from Onehunga this morning. She has 254 sacks of chaff from Picton to land. After loading outward cargo she sails for ellington. THE REGULUS. The Regulus is expected to arrive this morning, with about 100 tons ol Blackball coal.
