A GRAND CONCERT.

Stratford people do not often get an opportunity of hearing the best of our local talent for which reason the announcement that a concert is to be held in the Presbyterian Schoolroom to-morrow evening should bo a welcome one. The performers are all well and favourably known, but we cannot give a better idea of the concert’s merits than to print the programme, which will be as follows: Pianoforte solo (Novellte, Schumann), Miss D. Bayly; song (“Baby Clover”), Miss Holford; violin solo (Simple Avre), Miss E. Rogers; song (“The Mighty Deep”), Mr Jones; recitation (selected), Mr Wilkie; song (“Buy My Roses”), Miss M. McKay; pianoforte solo (“The Rosary”), Miss N. Wilson; song ((“Time’s Roses”), Mrs Nolan; song (“The Midshipmite”), Mr Douglas; violin solo (Spaiiische Waltzer), Miss Rogers; song (“Slumber Sea”), Miss Holford; song (selected), Mr Hale; recitation (selected), Mr Wilkie; song (“The Perfect Way”), Mrs Nolan; song (“The River of Years”), Mr Douglas; duet, vocal (“In Springtime”), Miss Bayly and Miss Holford; song (“Fiddle and I”), Mr Jones. It should be mentioned that the proceeds of the concert will, be devoted towards the Manse Fund.
