The Vorwaerts, under the heading of “Remunerative Patriotism,” prints an official document to show the existence of a secret trust. Whenever a manufacturer in t shipbuilding materials is asked by. a shipyard for a quotation, ho forwards particulars to a central office at Dortmund, which puts all matters upon which he has been approached in communication with the others. They settle the price, Which is then quoted approximately, plus ten per cent to the successful tenderer, who remits the ten per cent to the central office for distribution among the unsuccessful tenderers.
