Suffragettes fired the council schools at Gateshead, soaking tho carpentry shop with paraffin. FURTHER WINDOW-SMASH.-IX G. London, April 12. A suffragette has been arrested for smashing the windows of the Standard newspaper office, as a protest against the paper’s articles.
