DEAD FINANCIER’S FORTUNE, £60,000,000. New York, April 1. Various estimates of the late Mr Pierpont Morgan’s fortune are being published in the press. Some papers calculate it at £16,000,000, but others place it as high as £60,000,000. ' A Rome message reports that the body of the dead millionaire is lying in state at the Grand Hotel in one of the suite of apartments reserved for Royalty. Scores of people, including diplomats, Government officials, and tourists have viewed the remains.
