Beautiful- weather prevailed' for the second day of the Manawatu races. Results:—
Kairanga Hurdles.—Aema 1, Sam Pan 2, Kauroa 3. Scratched: Cornelian and Eiya. Won by a head, two lengths between second and third. Time, 2fflin 48 l-ss*ic.
Clovenlea Hack.—Great Master Lupin 2, Conziska 3. Scratched: Zetes, Scottish Star 1 , Recipe, Gazette, and Silver Rose. Won by a head. Two lengths between second and third. Time, lmin 3flec.
Stoneyhurst Welter.—Aruake- 1, Lady Volga 2, Scottish Star 3. Scratched: Caher Davon. Won by half a length. Scottish Star half a length away. Time, lmin 29 1-osec.
Sires Produce Stakes.—Rinaldo 1, JNTghtwatch 2, Salzburg 3. Scratched: Ogier 1, Jason 2, and Garanee 3. Won by three-quarters of a length, Salzburg a length away. Time, lrnin 15 see.
Ava Hack Welter.— Archray 1, Papararama 9; Chaminade 3. All started. Won by two lengths. Time, lmin 44 3-osec.
