The Daily Telegraph declares that though the general view of the American Tariff Bill is that it is good for British exporters, there is a feeling some quarters that a reduction in the cost of living will result in a lessening of the cost of production and an increase of United States competition in the foreign markets.
BRADFORD FEARS FOR PRICES

Fears are expressed in Bradford that the placing of wool on the free list will send the present ahnormal price higher, owing to the shortage in the world's supplies.
BILL VIOLATES TREATY PROVISIONS.
(Received 11.45 a.m.) Washington, April 9
The Bill proposes a concession of 5 per cent on goods conveyed by American ships. As the treaties existing with Britain and other nations conflict with such a provision, vigorous protests from the nations concerned are probable.
