WEATHER FORECAST.
The Government Meteorologist (Rev. D. C. Bates) telegraphed this afternoon as follows: The indications are for southeasterly winds strong to gale decreasing and veering by east to north. The weather will prove squally with heavy showers, but should improve. The night will bo cold with frost inland. The barometer has a rising tendency, but falling after 16 hours.
