LATE LOCALS.
The Holy Trinity Sunday School held its annual picnic at Ngaere yesterday. There was a big attendance, and the outing proved a most enjoyable one. At the Magistrate’s Court this morning before Mr Kenrick, S.M., judgment by default was entered in the cases John Leydon v. George Bernard, claim £3 14s 6d and costs ss. ■ Miss Elsie Waddell, a sister of Mrs W. H. Robinson and of Miss A. Waddell, of Stratford, while on a visit to Rotorua, took suddenly ill, and died yesterday. Much sympathy will be felt with tho relatives of the deceased, the shock of the sudden death being a severe one. Mr W. H. Robinson left for Rotorua by the mail train this morning.
