FIRE.
EDUCATION BOARD DWELLING HOUSE DESTROYED. (Per Press Association.) Danneyirke, March 31. An eight-roomed house at Umutaroa, the property of the Hawke’s Bay Education Board, and occupied by Peter Anderson, was destroyed on Saturday. The fire is alleged to have spread from burning bush in the neighbourhood. The contents were insured for £2OO in the Royal, and the building was insured for £4OO, but the name of the office is unknown at present.
