WORKERS’ HOMES.

FOR STRATFORD

The Government have decided to purchase a block of land in Swansea Road and Cloton Road, offered by Mr R. Jackson, for the above purpose, and the Commissioner of Lands is taking steps to have the land surveyed and subdivided. When this has been completed, the Government will build straight away so as to allow the occupation of the houses in the spring., Mr Temple, F.R.L.A., will be in Stratford during the coming month for applicants to make their final choice of the plahis of the buildings, together with the alterations as required. Mr J. Lomas, superintendent of Workers’ Dwellings, will lie glad to receive the applications, together with £lO deposit as early as possible. Any further information may bo acquired from Mr T. J. Ladd, Cloton Road, who has the matter in hand.
