MORE' TROUBLE WITH GASMEN,

There is trouble' again in connection with the gas employees. It is hinted that the council of the Gas Employees’ Union t.o-night considers what the Sitary designates as a serious disvwith the Australian Gaslight Co. over the agreement with the Union. TRAMWAY TRAFFIC. There were over five million passengers on the trams during the holidays, which is considered a record. SYDNEY SHOW SALES. At the show sales three draught stallions for J. Boog and F. Vaughan (Neiy Zealand) ranged from 40 to 70 guineas. CONTESTS AT THE SHOW, L The wood-chopping contest at the show- was won by Blanch - (Tasmania). Appo (New Zealand) was fourth. The champion high jump was won by Radium, who cleared Oft lOin.
