LOST ON RUAPEHU.
TWO RETURNED SAFELY
FOUR STILL MISSING
A party of six were lost on Mjt. Ruapehu on Saturday. Two of the party, Mclntyre and Willoughby, got to near the township on Sunday, having followed sulphpr streams and miles of track. There are no tidings of the othqr four, viz., Miss Gotch (a world traveller), Messrs Sherbert and Watters (of Auckland), and Bingham (of Qhakune).
There was a fresh fajl of enow on Sunday night and the weather is bitterly cpld. Search parties were out yesterday and k§t night. Search is being continued.
