The weather is fine and the tracks .good for the semi-final gallops. Most of the work was done on the outer portion of the grass tracks. Among many good gallops, Lady Medallist took the honors, doing a mile and a quarter in 2.11 f. Cider threw a mile behind in 1.44. Wolawa beat Uncle Matt by ten lengths over once round in 2.21 L My Giovanna was three lengths in front of Bright Laddie at the end of a mile, which was cut out in 1.46. Athenic did six furlongs in I.IBJ. Volido was restricted to useful work. Endorus ran five furlongs in 1.2} and Jolly Beggar a mile in 1.44}.
