The patients at the Coast Hospital had. an unpleasant experience. A bush firo over many acres surrounded and threatened the destruction of the hospital. The patients wore in terror and many were delirious. The whole staff was in readiness tq remove, when luckily a change in the wind and the arrival of brigades averted danger.
