The High Commissioner, cabling from London under date the 15th instant, reports as follows : Butter.—The market is quiet but steady, and holders are firm for New Zealand. Quotations: New Zealand 119 s (salted), 121 s (unsalted); Australian 110 s, Argentine 109 s, Danish 130 s, Siberian 110 s.
Cheece.—The market is steady, and prices well maintained. Average price for the week for finest New Zealand cheese Gls Gd, aCnadian Gss.
