TURKISH DEFEATS
(Received 12.50 p.m.) London, March 17. It is officially stated that the Bulbarians made a bayonet charge, and captured a redoubt to the east of Akalan and eight miles northward of Chataldja. The Turks were reinforced and counter-attacked, and were repulsed. In the attack there were three hundred casualties. Athens, March 16.
Tho Turks in a panic abandoned Delvinakio. The Greeks routing the rearguard captured 30 officers and 1570 men.
