The New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Company, Limited, have received the following cablegram from their London house under date, 11th instant:—London Wool Sales.—The demand still continues, although not quite so brisk. As compared with last sales’ closing rates prices are higher by about par to 5 per cent, for lambs, greasy and scoured merino, super, coarse scoured crossbred and scoured merino medium,; about the same for greasy merino medium, scoured merina inferior, medium scoured crossbred fine greasy crossbred, medium greasy crossbred and fine scoured crossbred; higher by about 5 per cent, for crossbred slipe; higher by about 5 per cent, to 7£ per cent, for crossbred lambs and coarse greasy crossbred and lower by about par to 5 per cent for greasy merino inferior.
