THE KNIGHT ERRANT.
THE HUNSLET ELOPEMENT.
(By Electric Telegraph.—Copyright.) (United Press Association.) Melbourne, March 10. A large crowd waited the arrival °1 Hie steamer Port Lincoln, on board which were the Rev. Mr Knight, the runaway Hunslet clergyman, and Miss Grimes, who travelled as Mr and Mrs Herbert King. The crowd was disappointed, as the couple eluded the ordeal by landing with the medical officer at Williarnstown. (Received 10.10 a.m.)
Knight and Grimes were met yesterday in Spencer street and questioned. Knight absolutely refused to say anything, and declined to make any communication for publication. He declared that if he was further questioned he would give the enquirer in charge.
