Mr TV, Grant’s special prize of £2 2s to man and dog who iiave never won a first or second prize at any Trial, and this Trial included, and Mr Backhouse’s gold medal for dog scoring highest points. 2 HEAD, PULL, DRIVE and YARD.—About 300 yards. Time, 12 minutes. Points: Heading, 8; pull, 7; hurdles, 5; style, 6; yard, 4; command, 10. First prize £5, second £2 10s, third £l, fourth 10s. Mr R. McMullian’s special prize of Imported Collie Pup for dog scoring most points for style, and Mr Summerkayos’ gold medal for dog scoring highest points. 3 HUNT A WAY BETWEEN FLAGS —About a quart of a mil© on a zig-zag course. Time, 10 minutes. Points: Huntaway, 9; style, 5; noise, 9; command, 12. The Stratford Auctioneers’ Special Prize of Silver Cup for dog scoring highest points, to bo won twice in succession, or three times at intervals. 4 (Local only) DRIVING AND YARDING with TWO DOGS.— About 250 yards. Post Entry. A Sweepstake of 2s Gd cash entry. First Prize £1 and 50 per cent, of Sweepstake, second 10s and 25 per cent, of Sweepstake, third os and 12* per cent, of Sweepstake. Club’s, Silver Cup for Dog scoring most points in Classes 1,2 and 3, to be won twice in succession, or tnree times at intervals. Bellringer Bros.’ Special Prize of Silver-mounted Cruet, for runner’sup in Club’s Cup, Mr Calvert’s Special Prize for married man scoring most pojnts in Class 1,2 and 3.

Master,s and Son’s Special Prize of Pox of Tea to runner-up in married man’s class. Wilson and Son’s special prize pair of spurs for single man scoring most points in classes 1,2 and 3. All trophies and special prizes are only for competitors residing in the Stratford and Whangamomona Counties at least three months prior to date of Trial. Members’ Fee ss; entrance fee for Classes 1,2 and 3os each entry; youth’s under 21 years 2s Gd.
