AMERICAN STREET PARADE. (Received 11.10 a.in.) Washington, March 3. Five thousand suffragettes paraded the streets with golden chariots and tableaux. indicative of women’s demands. There figured in the procession with Mrs Jones as leader a hand of women marches who tramped from New York to Washington to present a suffragette petition to Mr Woodrow Wilson. “NO MEN, NO WOMEN.” (Received 11.30 a.m.) London, March 3. A large counter demonstration endeavoured to prevent suffragettes meeting at a pavilion, to which men were refused admission. The student element predominated, and created a terrific din in Piccadilly, shouting the battle cry, “No men, no women !” A strong detachment of police ultimately enabled the suffragettes to enter the building
