Mr Moore, after rendering what assistance was possible, communicated with a neighbour, and had the unfortunate man convoyed to a house near by. Hr. Milroy was communicated with, and after an examination ordered his removal to the Hawera Hospital, where, at the latest available report (states the Star) lie lies in a critical condition, suffering from concussion of the brain and a fractured skull. The unfortunate man was Mr. W. Gray don, farmer, of the Geo road, who was returning home at an early hour from Manaia.
