PUBLIC NOTICES. STRATFORD BOROUGH COUNCIL. STREET IMPROVEMENT SPECIAL LOAN OF £20,000. The council of the borough of STRATFORD hereby I gives Public Notice that it proposes to 1 Borrow, by way of SPECIAL LOAN,, under the provisions of “The Local j Bodies’ Loans Act, 1908,” the sum c f £20,000: — (a) The particular purpose for which the said loan is required is to fora, construct, and generally improve the Streets and Footways of the Borough, and incidental thereto to purchase necessary machinery and plant, (b) The sum proposed to be borrowed for such purposes is £20,000, at the rate of interest not exceeding Five Pounds per Centum per Annum, with a Sinking Fund of One-half per Centum per Annum additional, (c) The proposed security for the said loan is an annually recurring Special Rate of One penny and live-sixteenths of a penny (1 5-16 d) in the £on the unim proved value of all rateable property, within the Borough and it is proposed to repay tin said loan at the expiration of Forty years from the raisin; of the Loan, by means of th Sinking Fund and otherwise. (d) It is proposed to pay out ol the loan the cost of raising the loan, and the first year’s interest of the loan during th. construction of the said works. Dated this 17th Day of February 1913. DRAINAGE EXTENSION AND IMPROVEMENT SPECIAL LOAN OF £12,000. mHE COUNCIL OF THE BOR J- OUGH of STRATFORD, hereby gives Public Notice that it propose; to borrow, by way of SPECIAL LOAh under the provisions of “Th© Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1903,” the sum of £12,000. i 7 , "; ‘' : O / (a) The particular purposes for which the said Loan is required are:— (1) As to £10,500 thereof to extend and improve the Bor ough Drainage System, and to provide all buildings, struc tures, engines, machinery drain-pipes, and other thingf necessary for the good and efficient drainage of the Bor ough, and (2) As to £ISOO thereof to malrc advances in connection with the execution of drainage and. sanitary works on privat; properties, to be repaid by the qwners thereof. (b) The sura proposed to be borrowed for such purposes is £12,000 at a rate of interest not exceeding Five Pounds per Centum per Annum, with a Sinking Fund of One-half per Centum per Annum additional. (c) The proposed security for the said Loan is an annually recurr ing Special Rate of Thirteen- 1 Sixteenths of a penny (13-16 d in the £ on the unimproved value of all rateable property within the Borough, and it i: proposed to repay the said loan at the expiration of Forty Years from the raising of tin Loan, by means of the Sink ing Fund and otherwise. (d) It is proposed to pay out ol the Loan the cost of raising tho Loan, and the first year’s interest of tho Loan during the I construction of the said works.
