PUBLIC NOTICES. STRATFORD BOROUGH COUNCIL. STREET IMPROVEMENT SPECIAL LOAN OF £20,000. The council of the borough of STRATFORD hereby gives Public Notice that it proposes lo Borrow, by way of SPECIAL LOAN, under the provisions of “The Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1908,” the sum of £20,000 (a) The particular purpose for which the said loan is required is to form, construct, and generally improve the Streets and Footways of the Borough, and incidental thereto to purchase necessary machinery and plant, (b) The sum proposed to be borrowed for such purposes is £20,000, at the rate of interest not exceeding Five Pounds per Centum per Annum, with a Sinking Fund of One-half per Centum per Annum additional, (c) The proposed security for the said loan is an annually recurring Special Rate of One penny and five-sixteenths of a penny (1 5-16 d) in the £ on the unimproved value of all rateable property within , the Borough, and it is proposed to repay the said loan at the expiration of Forty years from the raising of /the Loan, by means of the Sinking Fund and otherwise. (d) It is proposed to pay out ol the > loan the cost of raising the lean, and the first year’s interest of the loan duritig the construction of the said works. Dated this 17th Day of February, 1913. THE COUNCIL OF THE borough of STRATFORD; hereby’ gives Public Notice that it proposes, to borrow, by way of SPECIAL LOAN. under the provisions of “The Local Bodies' .Loans Act, 1908,” the sum of; £12,000. (a) The particular purposes for which the said Loan is required are:— (1) As to £10,500 thereof to extend and improve the Borough Drainage System, and to provide all buildings, structures, engines, machinery, > drain-pipes, and other things necessary for the good and efficient drainage of the Borough, and (2) As to £ISOO thereof to make advances in connection with the execution of drainage and sanitary works on private properties, to be repaid by the owners thereof. (b) The sum proposed to be borrowed for such purposes is £12,000 at a rate of interest not exceeding Five Pounds per Centum per Annum, with a Sinking Fund of One-half per Centum per Annum additional. (c) The proposed security for the said Loan is an annually recurr- , ing Special Rate of ThirteenSixteenths of a penny (13-16 d) in the £ on the unimproved value of all rateable property within the Borough, and it is proposed to repay the said loan at the expiration of Forty Years from the raising of the Loan, by means of the Sinking Fund and otherwise. <d) It is proposed to pay out of the Loan the cost of raising the Loan, and the first year’s interest of the Loan during the construction of the said works.
