BRIDGE SPECIAIToAN OF £6OOO. nn HE COUNCIL OF THE BORJL OUGH 0F STRATFORD hereby gives Public Notice that it proposes to borrow, by way of SPECIAL LOAN, under the provisions of “The Local Bodies Loans Act, 1908,” the sum of £6OOO. (a) The particular purpose for which the said loan is required is to erect a new concrete bridge on Broadway, across the Patea River, of the full width of the \ Street, to replace the present bridge known as Victoria Bridge. (b) The sum proposed to be borrowed for such purpose is £6OOO, at a rate of interest not exceeding £5 per centum per annum, with a Sinking Fund of One half per centum per annum additional. (c) The proposed security for the said loan is an annually recurring Special Rate of Seven-six-teenths of a penny (7-16 d) in the £ on the unimproved value of all rateable property within the Borough, and it is proposed to repay the said loan at the expiration of Forty years from the raising of the loan,, by means of the Sinking Fund and otherwise. (d) It is proposed to pay out of the loan the cost of raising the loan, and the first year’s interest of the loan during the construction of the said works. Dated this 17th day of February, 1913. The council of the bori OUGH OF STRATFORD hereby gives i Public Notice that it proposer to borrow, by way of SPECIAL LOAN, under the provisions of “The Local Bodies Loans Act, 1908,” the sum of £4OOO. • t (a) The particular purposes for which the said loan is required | , are to provide additions to and , ~ extensions and improvements of the Waterworks, and to acquire in connection therewith lands, rights, easements, advantages, and appurtenances, and buildings, structures, engines, machinery, filters, water-pipes, and other things; to pay compensation for any lands taken or injuriously affected; and any other purposes incidental to or in relation to any of the above purposes. (b) The • sum proposed to be borrowed for such purposes is £4OOO, at a rate of interest not exceeding Five pounds-per centum per annum, with a Sinking Fund of One half per centum per annum additional. (c) The proposed security for the said loan is an annually recur,f.i ring Special Rate of One farthing (Id) in the £ on the unimproved value of all rateable property within the Borough, and it,.is proposed to repay the said loan at the expiration of Forty years from the raising of the loan, by means of the Sinking Fund and otherwise.
