HAMILTON SESSIONS. (Per Press Association.) Hamilton, February 13. At the Supreme Court to-day, Arthur Winter Ludgreen, on , several charges of theft, was sentenced to twelve months’ imprisonment on each of three charges, condihrent, and reformative treatment for'three years. A native, for theft of monies, was acquitted. In divorce decrees nisi were granted to Flora Smith and Kennedy Smith, desertion, and Thos. Frewin v. Minnie Frewin. PALMERSTON NORTH SESSIONS. Palmerston N., : February 13. At the Supremo Cmlrt to-day, John Horrocks Whellan, of Levin, was acquitted on a charge of shooting with intent at a man whom he found in his wife’s bedroom. Hamuera Rewhiti, charged with attempting to shoot his wife, near Dannevirke, was found guilty of common assault and admitted to probation. Albert Henry Light, a piano agent, charged with fradulently failing to account for £lB to a person for whom he sold a piano, was convicted and admitted to probation for twelve months, and ordered to pay the £lB and 10 guineas costs.
