KILLED BY A FALL OF EARTH. (Per Press Association.) i Invercargill, February 13. Stephen Hogan was killed by a fall of earth in a gravel pit at Drummond on Monday. A side slip occurred burying Hogan, who was dead when extricated. FOUND DEAD. Invercargill, February 13. Albert Edward Owens, a labourer, South Invercargill, was found dead on the beach at Oraki, near Rivertoji, to-day. He had left Colac Bay where he had spent the previous night to walk to Riverton and get the train to Invercargill. The cause of death at present is unknown.
